KERNERSVILLE - Reba Angell Siler Tuttle, 87, surrounded by family and loved ones, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Reba was born on November 23, 1926 in Yadkin County to Robert G. and Leona S. Angell.
In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Wilson Siler and second husband, Hobert ""Tut"" Tuttle.
Surviving are four sons, Virgil Siler (Tammy), Gary Siler (Janice), Steve Siler (Debbie) and Allen Siler (Ingrid); a stepson, Ron Tuttle; a stepdaughter, Becky Kistler (Jimmy); 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Nelson Angell and Oliver Angell, (Carol); one sister, Opal A. Beeson; and many nieces and nephews.
After retiring from Adams Millis with over 20 years of service, Reba and Tut started and operated Fun Time Tours for many years. These tours were enjoyed by family and friends as they traveled the US. She especially cherished time with her family at home gatherings, reunions and beach trips. She also loved cooking and working in her yard. Reba was an active member of Oaklawn Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Oaklawn Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Boyce, Rev. David Rorie and Rev. Jim Saul officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
