Reba Burgess Livengood

Mrs. Reba Burgess Livengood, 82, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008 at New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington, NC. She was born on April 25, 1926 to Will Henry and Ruby Ruark Burgess. She retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Mrs. Livengood was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Harding Livengood; 2 sisters, Hazel Ireland and Jewell Dodd and 1 brother, Walter Burgess. She is survived by 4 children, Becky Walton and her husband Eddie of Snead's Ferry, Albert B. Hinson of Lexington, Michael C. Livengood and his wife Cheryl of Winston-Salem and Robin L. Owens of Winston-Salem; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Reid Burgess of Winston-Salem and Horace Burgess of Wilmington; 2 sisters, Melba Sidden and Jackie Clinard both of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor John Bost officiating.
