Mr. Raymond Otis Sell passed away early Saturday morning on Saturday March, 21 2009, at Forsyth Hospital. Raymond was born in Forsyth County to the late William and Cora Sell. He was an avid fisher and liked antique cars. Raymond served and protected our country in the Marine Corps during World War II. On top of his great accomplishment and service to us all, he loved animals and was a dedicated member of Calvary Moravian Church for thirty-seven years. Preceding him in death was his daughter Kathy Sell Johnk; and two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Sell is survived by wife Lois Mabe Sell of sixty-two years; a daughter Gloria Langley; a granddaughter Blair and husband Brent Umphlett; a great grandson Devon Umphlett; and son-in-law Ron Johnk. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 23, 2009 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Lane Sapp officiating. The family will receive friens 6-8 pm Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
