Raymond Laython Medlin

Mr. Raymond Laython Medlin, 74, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016, at his residence. Mr. Medlin was born in Forsyth County on November 5, 1941, to the late Homer Ray Medlin and Annie Elizabeth Cox Medlin. Raymond retired from Johnson Control after more than twenty years of service. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Medlin Adams. He is survived by one son, Mark Medlin of King, NC; significant other for thirty years, Joanne Conrad; grandchildren, Candice Medlin, Brandy Prayter, Julie Seamons, Zac Conrad, Madison Conrad, Samantha Arnold, Brandy Conrad, Clinton Hartman, Amber Mills, and Harley Conrad; 11 great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Joseph Spaugh. No services are scheduled at this time. Raymond will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mr. Medlin.
