Raymond Doniford Bridges

Mr. Raymond Doniford Bridges, 73, of Advance passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born November 7, 1942 in Cumberland County to George Doniford and Dorothy Bellamy Bridges. Mr. Bridges served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Advance United Methodist Church. He retired from Amp, Inc. and enjoyed being outdoors, Indian heritage, world history and nature. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Beauchamp Bridges; his parents; and a brother, William Bridges. Surviving is a daughter, Virginia E. Faubel and husband Michael and three grandchildren, Catherine, Zachary and Benjamin. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Cheryl Skinner officiating.
