Ray E Mayberry

Mr. Ray Everett ""R. E."" Mayberry, age 64 of Mocksville, died Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Grayson County VA. to Ray and Edith Anders Mayberry. Mr. Mayberry was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was an avid Drag Racer for over 50 years (Shade Tree Special). He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronnie and Sherman. Surviving is his wife Colene; one son, Tracy Mayberry and wife Carol of Winston-Salem; five sisters, Shirley Joyner of Lewisville, Linda Alexander (Danny) of Winston-Salem, Gail Knowles of Lewisville, Cindy Bailey (Ron) of Galax, VA. and Treasa Templeton (Gary) of Winston-Salem; two brothers, David Mayberry (Gracie) of Lewisville and Eddie Mayberry (Mary Ann) of Tobaccoville and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Wayne Swisher. Entombment will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Kate B.
