Mr. Randy Lee Lasseter, 50, of Clemmons, NC, passed away unexpectedly as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Sunday February 13, 2011. Mr. Lasseter was born on May 26, 1960 in Forsyth County, NC. He was a technician in the maintenance department at Deere-Hitachi for 10 years and then moved on to O'Neal Steele where he worked in maintenance as well. Randy was a talented bass guitar player and loved all kinds of music, especially classic rock. Mr. Lasseter was preceded in death by his father, William Morgan Lasseter, Jr. and a brother, Bill Morgan Lasseter, III. Surviving Mr. Lasseter are his wife, Emily Reavis Lasseter; three daughters, Amanda Lasseter of Daytona Beach, FL, RiAnna Lasseter and Shannon Lasseter, both of Clemmons; his mother, Gladys Walker Lasseter of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Arnold Lasseter (Gracie) of Winston-Salem and Jerry Lasseter of Winston-Salem; one sister, Billie Still (Raymond) of Ocala, FL. Randy is also survived by five loving dogs, Lacey, Keeper, Echo, Bella, and Woolee who are awaiting the day of their reunion with him. Mr. Lasseter was a loving husband to Emily and father to all three of his daughters,of whom he was so proud. His daughters will cherish the memories they have of their father being able to fix anything and always making people laugh. They will especially miss the distinct laugh that Randy had because it would always light up the room.0 A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 7pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with visitation taking place one hour prior to service time.
