Ramona Jenkins Rowe

Mrs. Ramona Jenkins Rowe, 88, of Clemmons passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Trinity Elms. She was born June 7, 1926 in New York to William Kendall and Doris Case Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Rowe. Surviving are a son, Dick Rowe and wife Shannon of Clemmons; two grandchildren, Russell Rowe and wife Brianda of Clemmons and Adriane Newbauer and husband Max of Gibsonville; four great grandchildren, Emma and Avery Rowe and Anna Grace and Holden Newbauer; a brother, William Jenkins and wife Dorine of Warsaw, NY and several nieces and nephews. Mona enjoyed being a member of the P.E.O. sisterhood where she was active in chapters in Winston-Salem, New Jersey and Florida. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 225 Davie Ave., Statesville, NC 28677 or to St. Hilary's Episcopal Church, 5011 McGregor Blvd., Fort Meyers, FL 33901.
