Ralph William Martin

Ralph William Martin went to be with his heavenly father June 23, 2011. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School, and retired from Amp Incorporated where he worked as a tool and dye maker. He was a long time member of Parkview Church of God, which was the joy of his heart. He was a loving husband and daddy. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Lou Martin: daughter Cynthia Lupo; son Ricky Martin; son Jeff Martin (Cindy); and daughter Lori Martin. One sister Maybert Tuell. Two Grandchildren, Steve Martin (Katie); and Alex Martin. Three great grandchildren, Lindsey; Ashley; and Julia, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the Doctors and staff of Wake Forest Baptist Health. Family physician Dr. Walter Wray, and Dr. Aubrey Evans. Also a special thanks to Hannah and Terri Childress. We will miss you Daddy so much, but we will see you on the other side. Thank you for being the best daddy in the world. A funeral service will be held at Parkview Church of God and will lie in state 30 minutes to the service at 2:00 PM Saturday June 25, 2011 with Rev. Bobby Dishman officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. A visitation will be held Friday June 24, 2011 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
