Ralph Benjamin Bucky" Gordon, Jr.

Angels came to take Ralph B. ""Bucky"" Gordon home on December 16, 2008. He will be remembered as a loving father and friend to many. Bucky served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years. He is survived by three daughters, Laura Gordon of the home, Michelle Gordon Taylor of Welcome, and Lydia Gordon of Hopewell, VA; a son, Todd Gordon and wife Lynn of Circleville, OH; a sister, Tunisia Smith and husband Harvey of Newport News, VA; nephews, David Schrock and wife Jessie, and Michael Esterly; two nieces, Shirley Esterly and Cynthia Sullivan; companion in life, Barbara Harmon; five grandchildren, David Taylor, Haley and Maggie Blakenship, Jacob Blackmon and Lucas Pulver; six great nephews, five great nieces and many other loved ones. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, December 19, 2008 at Salisbury National Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm on Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
