Ralph "Tump" Crews

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Ralph Harrell ""Tump"" Crews, age 80 died Monday, October 12, 2015. Mr. Crews was born on August 21, 1935 in Forsyth County, NC to Roy and Victoria Harrell Crews.

Mr. Crews was a longtime member of Union Grove Baptist Church. He served on the building and grounds committee as well as serving as an usher. Mr. Crews retired from Roadway after 30 years of service.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Cindy Smith; granddaughter Stacy Ragan and a sister Doris Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Mary Ellen Crews of the home; daughter Teresa Ragan and husband Charles of Kernersville; a sister Pauline Landreth of Kernersville; one granddaughter Brandy Atkins of Kernersville.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
