Ralph James Cochran

Mr. Ralph James Cochran went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 25, 2012. He was born June 25, 1932. Mr. Cochran attended Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Rural Hall. He was a mechanic at Lincoln-Mercury then went on to be the best transmission man there was. He was a jack of all trades who loved to dance and fish. Mr. Cochran was a devoted father and husband. Surviving Ralph are his loving wife, Miona Tuttle Cochran; two sons, Dennis and his wife Dean and ""Bruce""; one granddaughter, Suzanne Stines and husband Logan; one great granddaughter, Shelby Stines; two step children of the marriage, Tracey Burgan and Michelle Burgan and husband Richie; a step granddaughter, Samantha and a special thanks to ""Wendy"" for being a wonderful caregiver and helping me with Ralph's needs. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Duncan Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
