Rachelle Davine Hollars

Mrs. Rachelle Davine Hollars, 42, of Advance passed away Friday, November 18, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Hollars was born in Forsyth County on October 24, 1969 to David and Rachel Hanes Eckenrode. Rachelle was currently enrolled in the nursing program at Davie County Community College and scheduled to graduate later this month. She had the highest GPA in her program and put her heart and soul in her work. Her warm spirit put all at ease, especially her patients. Nursing was her true calling, often leading her to help others during their time of need. She was an avid scrap booker who loved to share her memories with all. Rachelle was also a talented writer, using her words to comfort, amuse, and interest. She always put her family first, especially in her role as wife and mother. As a granddaughter and daughter, her caring nature and true understanding of others led her to care for both her grandparents and mother. Rachelle truly loved her family and friends and will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. Mrs. Hollars was preceded in death by her grandparents; her mother; a brother, Benny Ray Wishon; and an aunt, Shirley Cornatzer. She is survived by her husband, Jason Hollars; two sons, Omar Alsweiti and Trey Hollars; her father; and three brothers, Larry Dale Wishon, Billy Eckenrode, and Paul Dennis Wishon. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2011 at Macedonia Moravian Church with the Rev. Jeff Carter and Rev. David Stetler officiating.
