Mrs. Rachel Elizabeth Sealey, 58, of Winston-Salem died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at her home. She was born May 13, 1950 in Surry County, the daughter of the late Claude and Edna Snow Pinnix. Mrs. Sealey was a registered nurse at Forsyth Medical Center for 38 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Sealey. Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Prevette and Christine Felts and husband, Bryan of Winston-Salem; one grandson, Jordan Rutledge of Winston-Salem; three brothers, Claude Pinnix, Jr. of Greensboro, Walter Pinnix and wife, Karen of King and Ron Pinnix and wife, Lori of New Braunfels, TX; and a number of loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Paul Mullen officiating. A graveside service will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens in State Road with Rev. Bill Marr officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
