Rachel Mcgee

Kernersville – Mrs. Rachel Hazelene Snow McGee, 94, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Arbor Ridge Independence Care. She was born September 15, 1927, in Forsyth County to the late John Orville Snow and Janie Holland Snow. Rachel married Raymond McGee on October 13, 1946; they were married for 74 years. She loved all her family but her biggest joy was her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. Rachel always thought about others first, and it was evident in the many cards she sent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond, one son, Steven, three brothers; Kenneth, Williard and Curtis Snow, one sister; Betty Thompson. Surviving are; her son Barry Kevin McGee (Dee), five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Raeford, and David Snow and two sisters, Thelma Fulp, and Ivey Smith. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Union Cross Moravian Columbarium with Pastor Don Griffin officiating.  Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the McGee Family.
