Priscilla Allen Anderson

Mrs. Priscilla Allen Anderson, 80, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at her residence. She was born September 3, 1942, in Ashtabula, OH to the late Albert Allen and Edith Eleanor Hill Allen.  Priscilla was a member at United Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Priscilla lived in Cedar Island for 19 years with her husband Clay. While there, Clay and Priscilla loved fishing together. In addition, Priscilla had a love for her family and all animals. She loved to donate especially to the Forsyth County Humane Society and SPCA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Steve Anderson. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Clay Anderson; two children, Nokie Ford and Mark Anderson (Melissa); daughter in-law, Pam Anderson; eight grandchildren, Michael Anderson, Michael Blakley (Katie), Candace Loflin (Donnie), Shannon Southern (Brad), Shawn Anderson (Danielle), Tyler McCormick (Stephanie), Tori Doub (Nick), and Austin Anderson; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sue Westmoreland; several nieces and nephews; and two fur babies, Mylo and Boots. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC with Pastor Will Watson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society.
