Polly Denny Ingram

INGRAM Mrs. Polly Denny Ingram, 98, of Winston-Salem passed away January 14, 2009 at Arbor Acres Retirement Community. She was born in Stokes County to the late Samuel Gray and Martha Ann Smith Hampton. Mrs. Ingram was a member of Burkhead United Methodist Church and was a member of the Fellowship Forum Class and the United Methodist Women. She retired from Hanes Hosiery after 39 years of service. Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Denny and Otha Ingram. She was also preceded by a sister and five brothers. She is survived by a sister, Ethel Hargrove of Burlington and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Arbor Acres with the Rev. Kathie Sherrill and the Rev. Doug Suggs officiating.The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and aids at Arbor Acres Healthcare Center for their love and compassion given to Polly.
