Mrs. Polly Motsinger Clodfelter, 86, of Kernersville, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015.
Polly was born June 25, 1929 in Forsyth County to the late Faude Lester Motsinger and Sally Reid Motsinger. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Winston-Salem. In her free time, Polly enjoyed watching NASCAR and working in her yard and garden. Most of all, she loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dumont D. Clodfelter, sister, Letha Joyce, and brothers, Brooks Motsinger, Monroe Motsinger, and Charles Victor Motsinger.
Polly is survived by her sons, Denziel ""Denny"" Lee Clodfelter and wife Gayle and Charles G. Clodfelter; grandchild, Patricia Duncan; great-granchildren, Ashley Fowler and Megan Carter; great-great-grandchild, Aiden Fowler; brother, Rev. Robert R. Motsinger and wife Violet; sister, Nina M. Holder and husband Denny; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
