Phyllis Hauser Warner

Ms. Phyllis Hauser Warner, 74, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 surrounded by her family at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1940 in Benkelman, Nebraska to the late Phillip and Della Sink Hauser. Phyllis was an active member of First Christian Church in Clemmons. She enjoyed her independence and lovingly rescued her share of homeless cats. She had a passion for rescuing cats. Phyllis was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Johnson and Dorothy McGrath and three brothers, Lloyd, Dale, and Val Hauser. Surviving is a son, Briggs Warner (Amy) of McLean, VA; granddaughter, Cecilia Rose Warner and two nephews, Matthew Beneduce McGrath (Gloria) and Dr. Ishan B. Vest. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 27, 2015 at First Christian Church in Clemmons with Pastor Eddie Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
