Phyllis Mustin Sullivan

Winston Salem - Phyllis Mustin Sullivan, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at her home. She was born May 22, 1945 in Forsyth Co. to Hubert Clifton and Lois Hemrick Mustin. Phyllis was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church for over 40 years. She loved going to the beach, reading, cake decorating, all children, but she especially loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Mustin. In addition to her parents, surviving are her husband, Linnea Gerald Sullivan, Sr. of the home; two sons, Linnea Gerald Sullivan, Jr. and wife, Leslie, Michael Andrew Sullivan and wife, Doria; eight grandchildren, Rebekah, Timothy, Sarah, Thomas and Cali Sullivan, Sierra, Aspen and Irelynn Spencer; one brother, David Mustin and wife Pam; and a sister, Linda Shimabukuro of Hawaii. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson and Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6-9:00 PM Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
