Phyllis Ford Ryder

PfafftownMrs. Phyllis Ford Ryder, 75, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her home. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on November 12, 1937 to the late Chester and Hazel Bevins Ford. Mrs. Ryder was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death was her husband, Earnest R. Ryder. Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Lane and husband, John of Westminster, Colorado and Sharma Bumgardner and husband, Todd of South Vienna, Ohio; two sons, Steven Ryder of Moravian Falls, NC and Brent Ryder and wife, Lisa of Clemmons, NC; nine grandchildren, Samantha Hauser, Andi Hauser, Breon Bumgardner, Robert Bumgardner, Courtney Shoffner, Deanna Ryder, Katie Ryder, Nicholas Ryder, and Aaron Ryder; four great-grandchildren, Whitney Emmerling, Nathanael Shoffner, Drew Bumgardner and Brady Bumgardner; also surviving are four brothers, Edward, Donald, Terry, and Ronald Ford all of Springfield, Ohio. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
