Phillip Ray Joyce

WALKERTOWN-Phillip Ray Joyce, 76 passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born November 24, 1939 in Forsyth Co. to the late Charles Martin and Letha Love Joyce. Phillip was a member of Welcome Door Baptist Church. He retired after many years of service from Baker Driveway and Motor Convoy. Phillip loved being outdoors; gardening, fishing and working around the house. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Curtis Joyce and Jerry Joyce; one sister, Dean Cheek. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Bonnie Watts Joyce; daughter, Robin Joyce Evans; sisters, Mary Lou Noah and Charline (Bob) Blythe; brother, Rufus ""Dan"" Joyce; and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Don Wallace officiating.
