Peter Francis Thomson

Mr. Peter Francis Thomson, 68, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on October 20, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to Lauretta McArdle and Jerome Thomson. Mr. Thomson retired as a Captain from the New York City Fire Dept. EMS Division. He devoted his life to his family, his career, and helping others. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joanne Thomson; four children, Tara-Ann Santiago, Jason Coppa, Danielle Fay, and Amanda Thomson; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Lauretta Kistinger, Elizabeth Nezin, Dorothy Fusco; one brother, Edward Thomson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Timothy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
