Peggy Snow Blackburn
Mrs. Peggy Snow Blackburn, 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
She was born in Forsyth County on May 12, 1933 to James Snow and Hannah Dobson Snow.
Peggy loved her church and was an avid Nascar fan. She was known to everyone as “Nana”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gary Blackburn, Sr.; son, Thomas Gary Blackburn, Jr.; and daughters, Cynthia Michelle Blackburn and Vicky Lee Blackburn.
She is survived by two sons, Todd (Irene) Blackburn and Jim (Leigh Ann) Blackburn; grandchildren, Tiffany, Josh, Zack, Stevie, Jamie, and Camren; numerous great-grandchildren; a great great-grandchild; and one sister, Betty Cox.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
