Peggy Williams Ziglar

Mrs. Peggy Williams Ziglar, 70, of Bradley Rd., passed away at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on Friday, March 23, 2012. She was born in Forsyth County on April 25, 1941 to John and Grace Collins Williams. Mrs. Ziglar was of the Baptist faith and had retired from AMP Incorporated with 30 years of loyal service. She loved and enjoyed being outdoors doing yard work and working in the flower garden. She enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team and loved playing games on pogo. She also enjoyed her beach trips to Myrtle Beach where she would get sand between her toes. Mrs. Ziglar was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald F. Ziglar. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Jones and husband Steve of Clemmons; a son, John Franklin Ziglar of Lexington; three sisters, Alma Jean McBride of King, Jackie Brewer and husband Walter of Rural Hall and Camellia Watson of King; several nieces and nephews and her special four legged companion, Sam.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Mike Duffield officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for all their compassion and care shown during this time and to her family and neighbors that helped during this difficult period.
