Peggy Thomas

Peggy Mathis Thomas, 81, of Walkertown, passed away on July 27, 2021. Peggy was born in Winston Salem, NC on November 26, 1939 to Robert and Ruby Mathis of Walkertown. She was a dedicated employee and served as the assistant Clerk of Court until she retired in the early 2000s. After retiring, Peggy spent time with her grandchildren and son and loved cooking for them and her family. Being with her family was one of her greatest joys in life. She was preceded in death by husband, David Thomas and son Danny.  Peggy is survived by her son, David; and grandchildren, Erin and Cody Thomas. Due to Covid, a private graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2021 at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church.
