Peggy Schweikert

Peggy Jean Schweikert passed away peacefully in her home in Winston-Salem on Friday April 16th, 2021, at the age of 61. Born in Winston-Salem on October 31st, 1959, to Helen Elizabeth Smith and John Robert Holcomb, Peggy was always authentic and compassionate which was evident in her long and dedicated nursing career. She married Raymond Schweikert on December 23rd, 1998, and they enjoyed 32 years of marriage together. Peggy loved animals tremendously, especially her faithful companion Trouble. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and had a contagious laugh that will always be remembered. Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Helen; father, John; brother, Donnie; and grandson, Archer. Left to honor and remember her love are her husband, Raymond; her son, David (Jessie); her daughter, Crystal (Matthew); a brother, Robert; a sister, Betty (Charles); five grandchildren, Jeremy, Chloe, Lilly, Harmony, and Samuel; and several beloved nieces and nephews.  A small family gathering will be held at her home (1343 Bancroft St. Winston-Salem, NC) on Tuesday, April 20th at 12:00 noon.
