Peggy Cassady Rivers

WALKERTOWN-Peggy Ann Cassady Rivers,74, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at her home. She was born April 13, 1941 in Virginia to the late Drewie and Dorothy Hudson Cassady. Peggy attended Beacon of Grace Community Church in Walkertown. She was a GW High School alumni in Danville, VA and retired from Piedmont Tool after many years of service.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Sue Kirks.
Surviving are her loving husband of 55 years, Barnard Rivers; children, Donna (John) Eulberg and David (Melissa) Rivers; grandchildren, Justin May, Sabrina and Joseph Eulberg, Kasey and Hailey Rivers. A service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel in Walkertown with Pastor Sam Carpenter officiating.
