Peggy Haynes Newman

WINSTON-SALEM-Mrs. Peggy Haynes Newman, 80, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at her residence. She was born on November 16, 1932 in Carol County, VA to Garland and Lydia McMillian Haynes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Otis Newman and her parents. Mrs. Newman is survived by four daughters, Betty Collins (Richard), Alice Day (Henry), Irene Fine (Tommy) and Lorraine Rashwan; two sons, William and Larry Newman; eleven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Tom Haynes (Nellie). A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gene Lawson officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
