Peggy Howard Muto

Mrs. Peggy Howard Muto, 80, of Clemmons passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Clemmons Village I. She was born September 2, 1931 in Forsyth County to C. A. and Pansy Foster Howard. Peggy was retired from Amp, Inc. and was involved in SCAN and the Exchange Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Muto and a sister, Eloise Myers. Surviving are a daughter, Regina Grady; 3 grandsons, Chris Grady and wife, Rebecca, David Grady and wife, Jessica and Jonathan Grady; 3 great grandchildren, Brina, Junah and Jeremy; 2 brothers, Casper Howard and Travis Howard and wife, Lavell; 3 sisters, Inez Watkins, Joanne Douthit and Brenda Weiss and husband, Stan; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Jerry Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., 1501 Northwest 9th Avenue, Miami, Fl 33136 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 3800 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, N.C. 28215. The family would like to thank the staff of Clemmons Village I for the love, care and support they gave to Peggy.
