Peggy Comer McGee

KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Peggy Comer McGee, 90, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at Piney Grove Nursing and Rehab Center. Peggy was born on July 19, 1924 in Newberry, SC to Mack and Calla Talent Comer. Peggy worked for Western Electric for over 16 years.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Bennett McGee, Sr.

Surviving are a son, Ben McGee (wife, Kay) of Pleasant Garden; two daughters, Diane Hunter (husband, Randy) of Cramerton and Gail McGee of Kernersville; six grandchildren, Timmy, Heather, Ashley, Allen, Derek and Robbie; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Binkley and Myra Pearman.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Marty Tobin officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, at the funeral home.
