Peggy Sue Leonard

Peggy Sue Knouse Leonard,83, passed away at home on July, 4, 2014. Peggy was the daughter of Violet and Gilmer Knouse. A private family committal service celebrating her life was held Monday, July 7 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Doctor Bill Campbell officiating. Peggy was a faithful life-long member of Memorial Reformed Church. She had been the organist since the age of 15. Despite being so ill, she only missed the last Sunday as organist prior to her passing. She was a substitute teacher with WS/FCS in the classroom as well as Central Office for over 50 years. Peggy was passionate about flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 Years Fred O. Leonard, Jr. and her sister Fay Knouse Fisher. Surviving are her daughter and care-giver Robin and husband Donald Huff; her grand-daughter and care-giver Susan and her husband Scott Allen; her great grandson, Salem; sister-in-law Janedia Bunn and nieces and nephews.
