Peggy T. Ladd

LADD Germanton - Mrs. Peggy T. Ladd passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at home with her daughter and husband by her side. She was born in Stokes County January 3, 1942 the daughter of Andrew Clifton Tucker and Clarice Bullins Tucker. Mrs. Ladd was a member of North Point Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher for 20 years. She was also a member of the Choir and taught Awanas. Mrs. Ladd was preceded in death by her father and one daughter, Michelle Leigh Ladd. Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Vaudie L. Ladd; one daughter, Kimberly Willard; one son, Charles Willard; her mother; 6 brothers and sisters, Ronnie Tucker (Judy), JoAnn Bennett (Wayne),Donald Tucker, Roger Tucker (Gayle), Kennan Tucker (Susan), and Tracy Tuck (Allen). A Funeral Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17 at North Point Baptist Church with Pastor Skip Furrow officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 8109, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Community Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Ladd during her illness.
