Peggy Ketner

Mrs. Peggy Joan Mustin Ketner, 89, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on February 14, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center. Peggy was born to the late Howard Clinton Mustin and Willie Cromer on November 11, 1932, in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Peggy spent 40 years of her life in the floral industry, creating many beautiful floral arrangements. She also enjoyed gardening in her free time, as well as spending time with her family whom she loved very much. She took pride in being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. When not spending time with her family, she enjoyed reading her Bible and serving the Lord as a devoted Christian.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; Howard Clinton Mustin and Willie Comer Mustin, and her loving husband; CL Ketner.

Her surviving family members include her son; Keith Ketner and wife Lynn, daughters; Stephani Ketner, Kristi Butcher and her husband John, grandchildren; Brian Ketner and wife Emily, Mikenzie Ketner, Randy Speer and wife Amy, and Jon-Erik Butcher and wife Emily, great-children; Hailey Ketner, Savannah Ketner, Gracie Freeman, and Wyatt Dougherty, and brother; Jackie Mustin and wife Anne.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Forsyth Memorial Park with pastor Will Watson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cancer Services of Winston-Salem, 3175 Maplewood Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
