Peggy Hall

Mrs. Peggy Ann Baucom Hall, 93, of Dunwoody, GA, formerly of Pfafftown, NC, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022.  Peggy was born on March 2, 1929, in Union County, NC to the late Henry Alexander Baucom and Eunice Holmes Baucom.

She married Paul Morris Hall on March 2, 1947.  He preceded her in death on November 23, 2014.

In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy was preceded in death by three siblings, Mollie Allen (Clarence), Ellen White, and Elbert Baucom; and one brother-in-law, Ralph “Skip” Chambers.

Peggy is survived by four sons:

David Hall (Carolyn) of Pfafftown, NC and their sons, Brian Hall (Tiffany) and Andrew Hall (Terry); and grandchildren, Madison and Brianna Hall.

Stephen Hall (Ginny) of Katy, TX and their children, Jason Hall (Terri) and Tiffany Warren (Kyle); and grandchildren, Samantha and Christopher Warren

Michael Hall (Angela) of Pfafftown, NC and their son, Zachary Hall (Katelyn); and grandchildren, Ronnie and Henry Hall.

Randall Hall (Jackie) of Sandy Springs, GA and their children, Christian Grant (Morgan), Jennie Knapp (Stephen), Kara Youssi (Chris), Victoria Hall, Daniel Hall (Caitlyn), Joshua Hall (Alyssa), and Jonathan Hall; and grandchildren, Nora Grant, Tanner, Carson and Leighton Knapp, and Ezra and Amelia Youssi.  Also, two special “adopted” children, Steve Patrick (Charlene) of Houma, LA.  All were loved greatly.

She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Chambers; sister-in-law, Nancy Baucom; and brother-in-law, Ken White.

Peggy retired after many years of service with Pilot Mountain Baptist Association.  This was truly a job meant for Peggy.

Through Paul’s military service the family was able to experience living in Japan, Panama, Arkansas, Idaho, California, and Texas.  Not only did the family learn history, but they also lived where it had happened.  Peggy ensured it was a loving home, no matter where they lived.

Also, Paul pastored several churches during this time.  Peggy was a great support to Paul as a pastor’s wife and a teacher for Sunday school and bible studies.  The last one being Danbury Baptist Church.  Peggy loved the Lord and was always faithful in attending church services with Paul and her children.  They were faithful in attendance at Old Town, King First, and Pfafftown Baptist churches locally.

While living at various locations, she was a mother, pastor’s wife as well as a military wife.  What a fulfilled life she lived and shared, not only with her children, but all she met.

A service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Forsyth Memorial Park in the Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Will Watson officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mrs. Hall.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
