Peggy Jarvis Guillan

Mrs. Peggy Jarvis Guillan, 92, of Clemmons, passed Sunday, April 9, 2017. She was born October 13, 1924 in Albany, GA to Myrtle Mae Kolbie Jarvis and James Harmer Jarvis. Mrs. Guillan was a longtime member of Unity Moravian Church and volunteered for 16 years at the Childrens' Hospital of Orange County, California. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Richard Meade Guillan. Surviving are three daughters, Becky Guillan, Candi Cape and Janis Carey; five grandchildren, Shannon Parks, Stacey Manley, Jeff Cape, Jr., Daniel Cape and Natalie Carey; six great grandchildren; one sister, Sue Taylor of Albany, GA and a cousin, Madie Riley of West Jefferson, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Unity Moravian Church with Pastor Barry Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the church graveyard.
