Peggy Ann Hutchins Freeman

Mrs. Peggy Ann Hutchins Freeman, 68, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at The Oaks. She was born in Forsyth County on October 12, 1947 to the late Estie Robbins Hutchins and Frank Charles Hutchins. She was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. Mrs. Freeman retired from AT&T in 1995 with 30 years of service. She loved bingo and gardening. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie A. Freeman, Sr. and her brother, Michael Hutchins. Surviving are her daughter, Joanne Brendle (Bo); son, Jackie A. Freeman, Jr. (Mary); five grandchildren: Lauren, Corrie, Katie, Sarah, and Will; two sisters, Della McGrevey and Frances Davis; special friend, Vonnie George; and her two cats, Miss Kitty and Chloe. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating.
