Peggy Bourne

Mrs. Peggy Jean Seivers Bourne, 85, of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

Peggy was born August 21, 1935, in Forsyth County to Bud and Annie Seivers.  She retired with 30 years of service at Western Electric and was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.  Going out to eat with her family was one of her favorite things to do, and she loved to spend as much time with them as possible.  In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Clete” Bourne; infant son, David Minter; stepdaughter, Kim Yountz; son in law, David Wilson; 2 sisters; and a brother.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Lou Ann Wilson and Melinda Everhart (Mark); grandchildren, Johnathan Miller (Jessica) and Traci McCune (Ryan); and great grandchildren, Coen Miller, Ava Miller, Carli McCune, and Maddi McCune.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 2 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
