King-Mrs. Peggy Sue Bell Bingham, 78, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 13, 1932 to the late Morris Beach and Linnie Gwyn (Susie) Branon Bell. Mrs. Bingham loved to read, work crossword puzzles, and gardening. She retired as an accountant from Wilson Covington Construction Company and also was employed at E. H. Cannon for several years. Peggy was of the Baptist faith and most recently attended First Baptist Church of King, NC. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death was her husband, Donald Bingham and a brother, Maurice Bell. Surviving is a daughter, Christy Smith (Dennis) of Kingsport, TN; son, Maurice Boles and fiancé, Jennie Thai of King; two grandchildren, Michael Boles and Kerensa Smith Archer (Doug); one great-grandchild, Alex Boles; her first husband and father of her children, Gerald Boles of Winston-Salem; also surviving are two special friends, Nancy ""Cricket"" Woosley and Ola Sizemore. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
