Peggy Faircloth Berrier

Peggy Lou Faircloth Berrier , 83, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday morning, November 16th, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born June 21, 1929 in Winston-Salem to Samuel and Grace Faircloth. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a faithful member of Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the church choir for many years. She was also an avid Wake Forest basketball fan and traveled for many years with her Deacons - Go Deacs! She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Douglas Faircloth, and her precious granddaughter, Jamie Berrier Crutchfield. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth G. Berrier of the home, one daughter, Robbie Holler of Winston-Salem and one son, Kent (Dawn) Berrier of Lexington. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Katie (Eric) Proctor of Lexington, Erik Crutchfield of Clemmons, Jody (Lorie) Holler of Waxhaw, Chris (Mae) Holler of Winston-Salem, and Lori (Forrest) Mitchell of Wilmington, NC; eight great-grandchildren, Landen Crutchfield, Parker, Garrett and Brandon Holler, Alexis Holler and Brinkley, Graylin and Elaina Mitchell; one brother, Larry (Brenda) Faircloth and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday November 18, 2012 at Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert Wiseman, and Rev. Randy Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, 430 Weisner Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 100 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of the KBR Hospice Home for the loving care given to Peggy during her stay there.
