Peggy Flynn Bennett

KING-Mrs. Peggy Ann Flynn Bennett, 81, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. She was born July 3, 1935 in Forsyth County. Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her parents, Nonnie Scott Flynn and Ernest Gray Flynn; husband, Junior Ray Bennett, and five siblings: Gray, Carl, Francis, Ruth, and Nancy. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Blakely (Larry) of King; son, Mike Bennett (Vickie) of King; three grandchildren: Bryan Burcham of Rural Hall, Matthew Bennett (Kelly) of Tobaccoville, and Michelle Bennett (Bernardo) of Arden; three great-grandchildren: Cara, Lorelei, and Jensen; and a host of extended family. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Lemar Tillman, Minister officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
