Peggy Beasley

Mrs. Peggy Lucille Morrow Beasley, 92, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, at her home. Peggy was born in Buncombe County NC to the late Herman Wesley Morrow and Mary Lee Edge Morrow on January 28, 1931.

After High School, she graduated from NC Baptist Hospital School of nursing in 1952. She later retired from Forsyth Memorial Hospital and Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. She was of Baptist faith and was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved her church family. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Beasley; daughter, Carol Beasley; sister, Elizabeth Morrow and brother, Bill Morrow.

She is survived by a son, Marvin Beasley and wife Virginia Pierce; nephew, Larry Marrow and wife Linda.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Family will receive friends, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM before the service.
