Pearl Boger Shermer

Mocksville- Mrs. Pearl Boger Shermer, 96, of Mocksville passed away October 23, 2011 at Springwood Care Center in Winston-Salem. She was born April 2, 1915 in Davie County to the late Robert and Allie Boger. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wesley T. Shermer in 1992. Mrs. Shermer was also preceded in death by her three sisters, Beulah Barney, Laura Berrier, and Juliet Crawford. She was retired from Sears Roebuck Co. and AT&T. She is survived by her son, Jerry L. Shermer, Sr. and wife Margaret of Mocksville; a grandson, Jerry L. Shermer, Jr.; a granddaughter, Rebecca Boyd and husband Greg; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Boyd and wife Brittany, and Megan Boyd; two great-great-grandchildren, Ava Galloway and Logan Boyd. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
