Pearl Smith

Mrs. Pearl Julane Jarrell Smith was born on November 24, 1939, in Cabell County, WV, the daughter of the late Porter Vass and Eathel Rebecca Meehling Jarrell. At age 82 she passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on October 4, 2022. In addition to her parents Pearl is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Ray Smith; three sisters Rosalie Simpson, Joyce McMillian, and Delores “Sis” Gantt; and three brothers Larry Jarrell, Michael Jarrell, and Jerry Jarrell. She is survived by her children Robert Gregory “Greg” Smith and Sandra Julane Smith Hendricks; one grandson Jordan Hendricks; three sisters Sharon (Jimmy) Boles, Brenda (Thomas) Edwards, Deborah (Bobby) Puckett; five brothers Richard “Dick” (Rebecca) Jarrell, Lowell (Elaine) Jarrell, Ronald (Barbara Jo) Jarrell, Johnny (Linda) Jarrell and Kenneth Jarrell, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Tuesday October 11, 2022, at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Doug Klein officiating. The committal will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
