Pauline Tuttle Tilley

Mrs. Pauline Tuttle Tilley, 90, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Brookstone Retirement Center.

Pauline was born September 10, 1925 in Randolph County to the late Joseph Seaton Tuttle and Susan Yates Tuttle. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington and worked for 15 years as a preschool teacher at the church. She and her husband also owned Auto Supply Company in Lexington for 40 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Walter Tilley, Sr., infant child, Michael Bruce Tilley, and grandchildren, Matthew Tilley and Elizabeth Tilley Foster.

Pauline is survived by her children, Beverly Crouse and husband Roy of Sparta and Joseph ""Joey"" Tilley, Jr. and wife Lisa of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Benjamin Crouse and wife Ericka and Zachary Crouse and wife Meredith; and great-grandchildren, Landen Foster, Cameron Foster, and Braden Crouse.

A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11 am at Forest Hill Memorial Park, Lexington. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 5 - 7 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
