KERNERSVILLE-Pauline Zimmerman Pinyan, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living. She was born December 1, 1929 in Davidson Co. to the late Clifford Russell and Tishie Cheek Zimmerman. Mrs. Pinyan was a member of House of Prayer Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Franklin ""Buster"" Pinyan; and a granddaughter, Jessica Faith Strickland. Surviving are one daughter, Pam Pinyan Estes and husband, Don of Rural Hall; three sons, Steven F. Pinyan and wife, Patricia of Winston Salem, Ronald C. Pinyan and wife, Doris and Barry E. Pinyan all of Kernersville; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; her twin brother, Eugene Zimmerman; two sisters, Estelle Huff of Winston Salem, Donna West of Louisburg; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, May 1, 2010 at House of Prayer Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Carlee Stallard officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:30 pm Friday, April 30, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
