Kernersville - Pauline Crews Landreth, 94, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Kernersville Medical Center. Pauline was born on July 2, 1922 in Forsyth County to Junius Roy and Victoria Harrell Crews. She was an active member of Union Grove Baptist Church as long as her health permitted, and in the past was a Sunday School Teacher and involved in Vacation Bible School.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Johnnie Paul Landreth; her son, Johnny Richard Landreth; a brother, Ralph ""Tump"" Crews, and a sister, Doris Crews Williams.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Sharon Landreth, granddaughters, Bethany Howell (husband, William), Jennifer Cresimore (husband, Andrew), and Emilie Siler (husband, Kevin); five great-grandchildren, Madison Howell, Caleb Howell; Brayden Cresimore, Ryleigh Cresimore; and Maddox Siler; her sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Crews; brother-in-law, Gerald Williams; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Steve Roberson and Rev. Neal Eller officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at the funeral home.
