Mrs. Pauline Joines Atchley, 84, of Winston-Salem, a wonderful person, wife, mom, and grandma was called by her Savior on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born July 4, 1924 in Wilkes County to Ben Franklin and Rachel Reeves Joines. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Atchley. Surviving are three sons, Benny R. Atchley (Susan) of Advance and Charles M. Atchley (Sabrina) of Winston-Salem, Mark Brown; two granddaughters, Candice Atchley and Amanda Norman; a grandson, Nolan Brown; a great grandson, Christian Conner; two special nieces, Loretta and Marquita and their families; and a special ffriend, John Shelton. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Vicar Sealy Cross officiating.
