Paula Herman Mossburg

KERNERSVILLE- Paula Herman Mossburg, 51, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, July 8, 2011, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born July 25, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Nicholas Ralph and Lois Jean Sulzer Herman. Paula was a school teacher at Kernersville Elementary for over 10 years. She devoted her life to her family, work family and friends and lived every remaining moment for them. Surviving are her husband, Mark Mossburg, of the home; three children, Lisa, Emily and Mark Mossburg, all of the home; two sisters, Susan Koester and Kimberly Hanna, both of Toledo, OH; three brothers, Nicholas Herman, of Lambertville, MI, Thomas Herman, of Spanish Fork, UT and William Herman, of Greenville, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, July 11, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Michael Mossburg officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 pm Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the funeral home.
