Paula Allred Clodfelter

Mrs. Paula Allred Clodfelter, May 20th, 1942-April 18th, 2013 of Rural Hall died peacefully at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Warren, OH to the late Paul and Lois Allred. As a young lady she was a Junior Olympic swimmer winning multiple medals in several events. She worked throughout her life in the financial services industry starting at age 16 at Merrill Lynch. She rose to become a Stock Broker at Piedmont Trust Bank and Wachovia Bank. During her life she also worked as a Flight Attendant for Braniff Airlines, a District Manager for Avon, and as an Executive Secretary to the CEO of Bluebell Corporation. She met James M. Clodfelter in 1974 and they were married on December 4th, 1976. She was preceded in death by her Sister-in-law Mary Louise Clodfelter. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, James, her son, Russell K. Juhl and his wife Robin, Granddaughter Reilee Nicole Juhl, Stepson Mark James Clodfelter, Stepdaughter Rae Jean Bosley, Step Granddaughter Alyssa Dicken, and two Step Great-Granddaughters, Sister-in-Law Nancy Hubers and her husband Dan of Middle River Md., Brother-in-law Robert ""Bobby"" Clodfelter of Elkhart, In and Special Family Friend Jean Derosa of Thornton Ga. Memorial Service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd., Rural Hall, NC at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 27th, 2013. The family would like to give special thanks for the excellent care of Dr. Charles Pippitt and Dr. Lawrence Nycum and the Staff and Nurses of Forsyth Medical Center Palliative Care.
